In the Stardom women's professional wrestling Future Championship match on January 21st at the Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, champion Ami Sourei (25) successfully defended her title against challenger Mai Sakurai. In the early stages of the match, Ami took control with a series of powerful shoulder tackles and body slams. The match saw a back-and-forth battle, but Sakurai, who was challenging for the title for the fourth time, was ultimately unable to overcome the reigning champion. In the end, Ami sealed the victory with a thunderous finisher move, a modified piledriver, for the three count.
