Bushiroad has announced that in light of the removal of the cap on the number of attendees at events announced by the government on the 27th, the company will host concerts, live events, and exhibitions with no restrictions on attendance and allowing attendees to cheer and shout with a mandatory requirement of wearing non-woven masks.
Starting with the "Bushiroad 15th Anniversary Live in Belluna Dome”," a music live event held last November, the company has been gradually easing restrictions on attendance and cheering as much as possible. This month, the government officially decided to reclassify the official status of COVID-19 as "Category 5" beginning on May 8th, following a long weekend, putting it on par with the flu. While wearing masks is still required, live events are now allowed to have attendees cheer and shout to their hearts' content, even if it means reaching 100% of the event's capacity.
In response, Bushiroad has decided to continue with its current policy and hold events that allow cheering with attendance confirmed by the venue and local government. The company stated, "In light of the relaxed restrictions, we will further promote manners during events to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. We once again request the cooperation of all attendees. Additionally, basic COVID-19 prevention measures will continue to be in place as the situation requires."
