Stardom Introduces Three New Rookies with Unique Personalities and Ambitions

Written by: Jessi B

In a spectacular showing of grit and glitz, the women's professional wrestling promotion Stardom announced the arrival of three new rookies in a riveting event at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall on the 17th of this month. And let me tell you, folks, the debutants did not disappoint.

First up, Minami Komomo. This young phenom, born in Fukuoka City on March 10, 2003, stands at 153 centimeters and weighs in at a solid 50 kilograms. With a focus on speed, Minami declared her intention to become a nimble and spry player in the ring.

Then we had Ueda Hanako, hailing from Kyoto City, born on September 14, 2000. And let me tell you, this young lady is something special. Standing at a towering 181 centimeters and weighing in at 75 kilograms, Ueda is the tallest wrestler in Stardom's history. With a background in swimming and student professional wrestling, Ueda has her sights set on achieving a self-made victory - a goal that I, for one, think she can definitely achieve.

Finally, we come to Ishiguro Sakura, born on September 13, 1996, in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. With a height of 158 centimeters and a weight of 52 kilograms, this practitioner of karate expressed her desire to become a player who never gives up, no matter the circumstances. And let me tell you, folks, with her tenacity and fighting spirit, I have no doubt that she'll be a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

But the real fireworks came when Ishiguro made a plea to have a singles match with none other than World Champion Giulia as her debut opponent. That's right, you heard me - the new kid on the block wants to take on the champ. And let me tell you, folks, the reaction from the crowd was electric.

Giulia, not one to be upstaged, appeared in the ring to respond to Ishiguro's challenge. "What, you want to have your debut match against Giulia? How presumptuous," she exclaimed, before adding with a sly grin, "But wait, your name is Ishiguro, right? Your nickname is Guro-chan. When I was a trainee, my nickname was also Guro-chan. So, how about we have a debut match as a Guro-chan connection?" And just like that, the match was set.

With the arrival of these exciting new rookies, all eyes are on the future of Stardom. And let me tell you, folks, it's looking bright.
